The casino is open 24/7, 365 days a year. Live shows featuring popular artists are held throughout the year. It offers gaming, including games and slots, including table games with live card games. Overall, I would highly recommend the hotel and casino, but don't expect your machine to make much noise, but if your patient, it will quietly pay off.Harrah's Cherokee Casino is one of the world's largest and most beautiful casinos. I saw multiple $1,000 winners and I played for over 6 hours and more or less broke even. Alot of the machines did not have working sound, which gave the impression that people were not winning, but I don't believe that is the case. The casino had older machines that could use an upgrade. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The arcade was clean and unlike most arcades, all of the machines were working!!! The staff in the arcade was excellent!! They talked with the kids and made sure all of the games were working. On this trip, we traveled with our two children (7 and 9). The indoor pool was big, clean, and well maintained. The furnature was beautiful and comfortable.

Most hotel rooms are small and crowded, but this room was 3ft bigger in every direction, which made the room feel very spacious. The hotel room we stayed in was one of the nicest Harrah's Hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. I think it is because they have the corner on the market up there and don't have to think about what the customer would like. There are many other places not any further that we can go too - Tampa, Tunica, New Orleans.

Where are the comps, the offers, we very seldom get enough to even get one meal or a few bucks off. We will most likely play this month as we will be in the area and we do enjoy the excitement, but come on. Like others we have been sent offers for a free room and I have called the same day that it arrived and there were no rooms available - ANYWHERE. You would think that with gas being so high that they would make more offers to get people to go there. Funny we still get offers from other casinos that we have been too over a year ago. I even e-mailed them to see why we had not been receiving any offers and they replied that after 6 months they are not allowed to make those offers. But now we never win We are planning a trip to the area, for other reasons the end of this Apris. When the Harrahs in Cherokee first opened we each won $500 once in two years or so. We are not rich and can only afford to once or twice a year.
